Manhattan Starlight MX Patch
Hi - I'm completely new to the world of Digital Satellite - so sorry for being stupid !
I have a Manhattan Starlight MX Receiver. I do not think it has an embedded cam, and I would like to load one in. Can I get a patch here ? And can I find some simple instructions on how to go about it ? Many Thanks. |

Hi - thanks for the quick reply.
Seems strange. The receiver has a card slot and the "embedded cam" option comes up on the Menu. Also - they are often for sale patched with CAMs - there is one on ebay just now with an embedded Matrix cam. Are there different versions of the Starlight ? Seems confusing......??? Rgds:ermm: |

Mine has an embedded Magic Module, AIUI that was standard. I understand there is a proceedure for updating the embedded MM to Matrix by removing a jumper and using a CAS interface. I have a CAS but do not know what jumper to mess with, so basically it's just sat on my scrap heap.
The Technomates and Manhattan Plaza's are quite cheap on eBay these day's - they are the way to go for easily patched receivers ATM |
