Jtag Sammy 2100c on 3.7 software via SDT v3.5

I have never Jtagged a Sammy before , only paces via BKEv2.2.

The Sammy 2100c has no TB ( talb back has been cut ). It does recieve FTA channels.

Its in Ex C&W area and its on 3.7 software ( checked in EM ).

Need the BK from the box. I have read a few threads but cant get the answers to a few questions.


Does the box has to be on stream or off stream?

Does it have to be in Debug mode ( i.e in EM )?

or both?

Now the bytes :

0x008FFE38 8

Does this go in the $ 0x00000000 box. Do i put number 8 at the end as well?
Or do i put number 8 instead of 12 in the bytes box.

Where do i put the IRD?

0x20020004 4

Any help would be appreciated.

hi m8,I`ve done a few sammys and I did`nt put it debug mode,it worked ok .But some other people swear by it. I suggest trying it both ways.I was also NOT onstream,but I also suggest trying it both ways if it fails.
In bke2.2 click on "TOOLS" in the top left corner,now scrool down to "JTAG",then scrool down and click on "config 1".You will see where to edit ur bytes.Delete the old ones and copy and paste in ur new bytes.Leave the ird as it is.Click on save then jtag ur box.As i said earlier I jtagged offstream and not in debug mode,but if it dos`nt work that way try the other....good luck
