hi there, i have been given a eurovox ex 7000hd+ by someone at work, so i have only a vague idea of what i'm doing. i have literally pluged it in and it seems to be working fine, i have loads of channels.
my questions are; how do i record? i have pluged a memory stick in, and a small hard drive (which has two usb's on it) but it comes up with "usb drive not attached". i've tried turning the box on at the on/off switch with them pluged in but still the same. any ideas? also i edited the channels so there in an order i like, do i need to do a scan to find new channels, and will this reset my channels? any help would be great. thanx. |

What format are your usb sticks? they need to be FAT32 as eurovox can't read NTFS. im not sure about the channel scanning but I think it will reset everything you have already sorted

just stick it in your computer and open the properties dialog box and it will tell you what format the drive as on it

do a format on the usb stick,,, that will freshen it up and try it again.
its a bit of an abvious answer though! i use 4 different ucb drives in my ex7000 with no problems your stick will have been through hell and back so a format wont harm it anyway. regards dave |

hi mate,
if you do a user installation to scan for channels it won't mess up the way you sorted them and will find any channels that you don't have. |
