Default Laptop + TV - Media Problem

Hi guys,

Wonder if you can give me any help.

Toshiba Satellite on XP fairly new.

Connected via VGA to my HD Panasonic Viera...

Perfect resolution and everything is perfect...

UNTIL!

I start a movie via media player or any player, when i start the movie goes to full screen and i can't get back to the desktop or any other programs except by alt f4 or ctrl and w by closing the media player completely....

Any idea how i can fix this guys?

Cheers

Adam

Can you not double click on the video? That will bring it back to a window.

No it won't let me, its like the media over runs the display, the only way is to close the program :/

I've no idea because i've never had an issue like this before.

Hmmm haah!

Does the movie appear on your laptop or the TV screen?

Hmm, this is a tricky one lol. I've never come across this problem before. Have you tried pressing FN and the key to change the display output (I think it is usually F10 on Toshiba laptops but it varies from laptop to laptop)?
