Default My Sat Setup

Heres my Sat setup in the house. Only have a Sky Minidish so you no what that looks like, will have a 1meter up in January hopefully

Yamaha AV Receiver, 26" LCD TV, XBOX 360 and OpenMedia 500CS

Yup it is
Its connected to the OpenMedia via Optical cable so i get the Dolby Digital channels through my 5.1 setup which is good Very good for films.

Nice setup mate! Although its a shame your an xbox guy over ps3!
Just wondering what your open meida is like. Im looking to hook something up to my sky digi dish to create a setup like yours. Box worth getting?

Well I have a PS3 in my brothers room but thats just broke, and my XBOX is now broke too. So looks like i Dont have any consoles :\ Which is not cool.
The OpenMedia is good, but since Cable side is pretty much useless, half the box is useless so your best off getting just a 500S and connecting it up.

I have the same amp but cannot fiqure out how to set the damn thing up! So went and bought a Denon one instead! A lot easier, so have relegated the Yamaha to the spare room
