Default is this possible?

hi guys just been helping a member from portsmouth redo his msoc card we used a cw image from downloads the card wrote ok but for some reason his pin has changed from 1234 to something else he cant acccess movies and sky 1 not work but the rest do can this happen ? didnt think an image could change his pin any ideas?

Reset the pin, hold left, right, standby and OK, connect the power and release when you see LD:06. Once this is done, reset the Net ID and Pin with a Funcard (unless he/she is Pure).

he not in pure and dont have a funcard cnt understand why it changed though and why ss1 not working

Ok, well he needs a Funcard to change the pin or the ability to lift and re-program chips. That's either the channel gone down in his area or a bad signal.

cheers guys but is it possible for the pin to change iteself just by redoing the card? never heard of this? also if it was a bad signal why would it only not make ss1 work got me cunfused lol

Yes it is just enter the pin along with entering the Net ID. Try a forced update, hold left, right and up while connecting the power.

alright m8 how does redoing the card change the pin only thing is he in a cw area not got a funcard why has the pin changed from before he said was always set as 1234 now when he enter it it wrong

You can enter the pin in the program you enter the Net ID. I use NetID v2 to change my Net ID and/or pin.
