I've unplugged it and turned it back on with the up and down keys pressed in but it just says, IMPORTANT dont turn off the box is being updated? Should I leave the card in?

m8 leave the card out of the box if you leave in the box you will lose all the details in the card and then you will need to lift the chip inside the box to read those details so the best thing leave the card out and hope that the card has not been hot m8.Quote:Originally Posted by macka09

now unplug the cable feed from the back of the box, and hold the buttons and plug in the power cable only.__________________

ok if the box is running through numbers that's good news that means your net id is set, then let it run through numbers and update but DO NOT insert the card in the box untill you manage to get the details of the card first m8.Quote:Originally Posted by macka09

i asked you to press the key to get into the menu to check the net id, but if the box is running through numbers all you have to do is plug in the cable feed at the back of the box then plug in the power cablew and leave it to go thought the update process m8 untill you see channel 999 then it would have fully updated, it shouldn't take more than 10/15 minutes.Quote:Originally Posted by macka09
