Your are not wrong there Martin, I have been watching Man Utd in every game on digiTV. I would love to have a card for it, but from exhaustive research into the prospect of obtaining an subscription I have found that there is not one card but each country/group of countries has their own. I have also found, be it true or not, that some of the providers require a dedicated receiver for the card. It will be a very sad day when we loss it to N3.

Regards Wez

Thanks mate, That is not dear at all, but unfortunately it is only for the the Romanian Channels on Thor @1W, the channels we get now, with the EMU and keys, are all the channels from DigiTV, Hungarian, Czech, Romanian and all the others. I have found out that each country has it's own service and it is separate to each other one and the card is matched to the box, as far as I know.

I wish it was as simple as Sly or any of the other packages, if we were to able to get every digiTV provider on Thor we would paying far more than Sly Italy of Cannal + Nordic and they would provide much better channels.

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but when they go N3, on digiTV, we will be better to go for some other satellite and package for our viewing needs and buy a card for it. The handful of channels on that package which you have kindly provided the link to would never be worth the money for most of us, might well be OK for Romanian people wanting to see their own channels.

I reckon you will see some crooks trying to con people with bogus cards for packages when digiTV goes to N3, it is par for the course. A word of warning here would not go amiss, be very wary of new super dupper cards that will come on the market, there have been loads of such cards before and when the money has been paid the support for the cards dries up and they end up being very expensive ice scrapers, helpful though they might be at the moment, they are just a rip off, so be warned.

Regards Wez

I'm pretty sure that the N3 DigiTV cards can be read in Dreamboxes etc, I think it's a similar procedure to the N3 Polsat Cards as they are paired to the reciever as well.

i was kinda expecting bogus cards on ebay when it does go n3. however its a shame that each country has its own service i just thought it was all one country apart from viva and axn when they advertise their website its says.ro or .hu i will miss hbo the most tho thats why at the min i dont subscribe to murdochs expensive repeat movie channels. i wouldnt mind paying more than sky to get a choice like that whats on 1w now. i just wish i knew someone in the countries to get subscriptions legitimatly i wonder what other countries have such a similar or good lineup i think polsat or cyfra has some good channels?? or german packages who knows what will arrive. thanks again
