Default longs/lats

last few days i've been struggling to get nova sports plus others on thor.
message on screen says dish moving to 0.8w and sticks at that.
My longs are 000.6E and lats 53.2N. and i'm using usals
So what i did was mess with my longs settings and they are now set at 002.0E.
not a major prob because everything works as it should now but i,m not sure why this has happened.Dish and motor have been fine for a month so i dont think its an installation problem.
it survived the winds we had a few weeks ago without issue so i'm sure the dish hasn't moved due to weather.
One thing i can think of is that the dish mountings has now settled down as such and may need slight adjustment,is that possible??
As i say not a major problem but is there anything else which might have caused this as its bugging me a little

hi mark
i am no expert but it does sound to me that the dish has moved slightly are you still locking onto 30w and 42e to see if its following the arc

Dish has moved a bit, most probably motor around the pole, or the pole has twisted round a little.

Hi Martin hope your well.
no probs with 30w and 42e,i've been picking up all the other sats ok just thor but since i've messed with the longs i've noticed signal quality is better on a lot of the weaker signals so your probably right.
just dont fancy messing with the dish at the mo,bit to cold and also i'll probably make a right mess of doing it.
I've red elsewhere about reseting the motor after firmware upgrade but i'm not sure its that either.Like i say not a major prob but i'd really like to get to the reason for it.

Yep, leave it alone for a while unless it gets any worse, as long as you can get the sats you want still, it's not a problem.
