Hi all, I've never done anything like this before and basically I am trying to find out how to reset my Net ID? I have been given a Scientific Atlanta 4200dvb box with the original card but for some reason it wont load up. I can't access the engineers menu and the message on the front of the box just says "nit". If anyone could offer some help that would be great thanks. I only want to get channel 1-5 lol as my aerial is broke on the roof and I don't get another fitted till the 30th.

Think ya need a card programmer mate and a funcard to reset net id, ya can buy all the ingredients from e bay and there's old posts/threads on here that'll teach ya how to do it but if I was you i'd get up asda's and get a freeview box!cheap and half the hassle!
