hi there, been looking for a rom 10 image all day that works and had no look, but just had a thought that the rom 11 images are named:
C&W DataDrome Rom11 BoD Blocker.bn11
and would it work if i changed it to:
C&W DataDrome Rom11 BoD Blocker.bn10

and yes it did, so just if anyone else was struggling to find a working rom 10,
download the rom 11 image from bigmaq tooldar and just change the end to :
.bn10

it works best if you open it in nagra edit and save it as a rom 10

If you use a ROM10 on a ROM11 card or vice versa you will most probably loop it forever.

The dataspace and codespace addresing is diff as are BC tables etc.

No, No, No !

Surely you lot should know not to do this by now !

As mr_spark said above, the code sections for the two devices are entirely different. The bugcatchers reference different trigger points and then call totally addresses so, at best, you end up with a card with absolutely no functional bugcatchers (so no blocker). At worst, you'll loop your card !

There's also the other little problem that Rom10/11 cards use different keysets which means the card wont AU. Luckily, it probably wont actually decrypt any Emm's at all , which is probably the only reason the above cards are still apparently working !!!

no it wont work, i gave it a go a while back with few cards i found, rom 10 card i put rom11 image on it , and vice a versa , well that was the end of those cards, never got into them again, so i would say keep your rom11 images to the rom11 card

Just a quick Q...

I have a programmer, blank rom 11 card and the bk and ird for the box...I however dont have a unlooper...Can I still prog the card and if the card was to go 'down', erase the card with the programmer and start over with an image and avoid the use of a unlooper?

If your card is already unlocked then you wont need a glitcher to unlock it and, as long as you take precautions, you can program and use it without it becoming locked.

If the card is locked (most are) then you will have to glitch it before doing anything else with it.

ok ive done this before ive saved a r11 image as a r10 in nagra edit and wrote it to a r10 card and it worked fine
