I think Blu-Ray will die a horrible death. HD-DVD is already out there, while Blu-Ray is still a fair bit off. Plus HD is almost affordable already.

I didn't hear of a quad layer blu-ray. I hope it doesn't come out until they fix the current blu-ray drives since their seems to be many problems with it, and the price is just a little too high.
