Ok guys I know these boxes probably going off soon but need some help. My sister brought one from a different area and it will not work at hers, just says:''sorry this channel isn't available right now. please wait or try again later''
Is this an easily fixed problem ? my kryptview works fine

Just a signal problem probably , maybe a fault with the tuner .

In theory if the box starts up okay then the signal should be fine but check the Engineers menu for the signal quality , Hold Ch+ and Ch- on start-up until LD:14 and let them go.

when the box gives you that message that means you still getting free channels??
So the box is working but the card needs updating (date/right), to do that you will need card programmer with phoenix mod if you doing the original card m8.

Sorry but i think the error your referring to is "you havn't subscribed to this channel" and only applies for premium channels.

His error messgae is definatly a signal related issue .. if you take the cable out of the box after start-up that message will appear on the channel your accessing .
