I have got the box into 099999 for net id but need to change it, holding buttons left, right,ok,power, im not sure what to do next, i cannot change the net id manually in the engineer menu, i have tried putting in a fun card made with NetIDv2.1.7.2 and also tried an ATmega but nothing happends apart from some data appears in one of the columns. Any ideas, cheers

make sure you net id funcard is correct, check the box key and ird for mistakes, then boot to EM set the freq/pin save them then go to next page and insert the funcard if the box don't boot itself go to following page and pause for 15 sec keep doing that untill the box reboot m8.

I have now set the freq/pin, but still nothing happens when i put the fun/atmega in, i checked the ird/bk and they are ok, only thing im thinking is the card is not paired. but the box key seems good, it starts with E6, and there is no reason as to why it might have ended up with an un paired card. As long as the BK and IRD are correct, I see no reason for the box not to reboot/update.
Also when you insert the netid funcard in the box, you can check you see if you have the right details on the card in EM. The netid card's staus will show as "PAIRED". The feed doesnt have to be in when setting the netid. Its only needed when the box reboots and tries to get the box updated. Where did you get the BK and IRD from? |
