Newbie Eurovox ex1100usb

Hi all I live in Burnley and have just got ex1100usb. Have followed guides in forums with little luck every time I scan I get no channels. What is the best firmware to use for my area? Is there an idiots guide for the ex1100usb, I have seen a few for other eurovox models but when I go to scan I seem to have more settings than the guides show ie modulator. Any help appericiated.

I Have a VM box and that works fine, I have disconnected splitter and plugged into wall

For anyone in the Burnley area I finally got it working by flashing with EX1100USB_091217_patch.abs and scanned using symbol rate 6952. No problems at all with picture freeze or any thing like that. EPG seems to work or works well enough so as the kids or misses don't complain

Hi can you tell me please where u got the update from as i live in burnley and am having probs with slot in slot out and freezing ,will the new firmware fix this cheers mate

copy and paste the eurovox link into your browser and the file is in the EX1100USB folder

I got it from the link above, flashed and did factory reset. I did try flashing with other files but could not find any channels when I scanned. The above is still working fine for me. Does anyone know how many GB per hour the PVR uses?
