pace di4000n stange problem

i got a di4000n ex c&w area. when i set net id using libby to 41050, in the em the group id box comes up as 000, whereas it should be 255.

when i reset box net id goes 09999 and group id shows as 255, then when re do net id to 41050 group id goes to 000.

never had this problem. anyone else had this problem before?

any solutions?

try using a funcard to set net id mate has worked for me in the past

thanks mate that worked.

only prob was the box was very slow, i mean very very slow, so i reset it again, thought repeat procedure, but this time it kept setting net id to 53862 or something and then when i try reset it again to 58263 or something like that cant remember exactly.

so used libby but still libby would get it to 41050 but group id was 000.

tried libby again this time erased eeprom and set net id and it worked. updated and working again, but still box is very very slow.

ie, when changing channels, doesnt respond, have to do it several times. going through menu very slow aswell.

any ideas why its like that?
