morning all and a Merry Xmas to one and all!

My box has been playing up of late. I keep getting a blank screen - picture flickers on now and again, sound is perfect . Thought it might be the Scarts. Bought new set played around with the sockets, etc. Still no joy

Is my Eurovox on the way out ? Does it need repair? Am I stuck with V*****n

Btw, my V****n box is working fine with picture and sound so it can't be any of the Scarts, co-ax etc.

morning all! Am still having the same problem here. Damn picture can't be seen - sound fine. Yep, I know the box will be kaput soon but I want to make the most of it while I still can

any advice?

Have you tried factory reset and powerscan?

did that a month ago - no joy. Will try again now . Could it possibly be a faulty SCART socket rather than the lead?

actually forget that power scan - I'm not getting any picture at all - not just the channels, but the menu isn't showing either so can't even do that. Just completely blank

Could be a tuner fault if you have tried other leads with no joy

Bromley (Vermin haven't yet sent the new smart cards out yet here so it can't be a case of NAG 3 already). Something is definitely not "connecting" It was playing up some time ago (as per my original post) . quick wiggle of the leads and it flicked back on. Now it sounds like something has definitely gone kaput

Have you tried another scart device - vcr/dvd player in the tv on the same scart socket to make sure its not the socket on the tv?
