bought a dm600s, 80cm dish. i want to card share and have sorted that out but what do i need to download to the box? is it free to download it as well?

Which image does it have installed?

Connect to the internet and see what downloads are available from the image team. All downloads are free and if anyone wants to charge you for linux receiver software they are crooks so steer clear of them.

no image as of yet, so was wondering which image to get and what is a cccam/diablo? do i need one? thanks

It must have an image of some sort so presumably it is the Dream Multimedia image which is for FTA channels and does not easily have the ability to run emulators like the CCcam emulator.

I suggest you install the Nabilosat Darkstar II 600 image and you will be able to download and install emus and plugins direct to the Dreambox. Do a bit of Googling to find the image and info about it.

ok brilliant thanks for your help. i bought the box for £110, no idea if this is the correct box to use for card sharing etc? thanks
