Default EX6000 - Scrambled Channels

Hi, my name is Clive. I'm not quite a technophobe but I am not far so I thought it best to ask the experts...

I have been directed to this site by a friend. I hope everybody had a good Christmas...

Can anybody help me please. I got a Eurovox yesterday - an EX6000 - When I scan for channels I get roughly 200 plus but with the exception of maybe ten, these channels are all "scrambled" - can anybody help?

most probably you have free to air software on it, you need to put on the latest firmware which is for the 25th november,

read here for the guide for ex6000

please help needed with a ex6000

you will need to get the firmware from

hxxp://www.box.net/shared/tmuhectkwo#/shared/tmuhectkwo/1/34016580

replace (xx with tt) no live links allowed

you want to put the file on your usb pen drive and put it into box,

please read the readme file in the extracted folder of the file.

download EX6000SD-KURO2_204p_20091125.rar

thanks

Hi thank you so much for helping me...

Unfortunately when I download the file it is defaulting to Windows Media Player - is this correct? There is no readme file in the extracted folder of the file

Am I doing something wrong?

When I put the usb pen drive into the box nothing happens...

As I say, I am an utter novice so have not a clue!

ok when you extract the rar file it leaves you with a read me file and kuro2.stb file,

you probably dont have win rar to extract the rar file.

Download WinRAR 3.91 (32-bit) - FileHippo.com

download latest version and install to pc.

now once installed go the purple rar file which is EX6000SD-KURO2_204p_20091125

right click it extract to

and then you will see the contents of the rar file.
