No, all you need to do is to press Menu, then installation, then deep scan ..this will delete everything and starts all over from scratch, it takes a while so just be patient ...

i done the factory reset and everything has gone, i tried power scan and nothing comes up.
i even went to language setting and put the 19** code in got a table but was blank can some one plz help i think it is messed dont think it has any software on it and i dont know how to upload it. help! thanks |

I need to ask do you subscribe to a cable company or not ? it just doen't go like that for no reason,something should be there ...if you dont subscribe then its likely the cable company might have disconnected your cable or something similar, when you did the scan did you do it with the correct symbol rate ? ....

i dont subscribe but i got mates in my area and their box is fine.
iam sure i used the rite symbol rate as i got it from this site. will i have to upload the software again, if so where can i get the software i think i have a blue box. thanks |

I repeat Press Menu,then Config then system information ...what does it say in there?
this will tell you if you have software on the box ...have you checked also that the incoming cable is firmly in the connector on the back of the box ? ... download the BigMAQ toolbar from here this will give you all the help you need if you have no software showing in config ...http://bigmaq.ourtoolbar.com/ Last edited by telecom69; 28-12-09 at 04:58 AM. |
