The only way to get the encrypted channels on 28e is to contact the nice people at sky and buy a subscription.

What channels are you trying to get?, they may be free on some other satellite, but I doubt it.

Adult stuff is easy, with appropriate receiver, and a dish on Hotbird, and a cheap subscription, you'll be sorted.

I wont read anymore of your posts if its written like that. The point I was making is that theres a lot of older members of the forum with hundreds of years of experience in the hobby, and most of them cant read txt spk - its just gibberish to them - as much as it would be if you posted in Hungarian. I can read it reasonably as I work in a school and I "pick it up as I go along" from the kids.

Now - if you dont want the benefit of our older members experience thats fine, but you may well find that its one of them that has the answer you desire - theres not many scenarios we wont have seen over the years.

However its your choice

AS he is another one who will not read, either because he has not got the skills or, the more likely explanation, he is just lazy, I mean he can't even be bothered to type in English. He seems to want Sly for free, so I will tell him all he needs to know.

IF YOU WANT SKY YOU PAY THAT NICE GENTLEMAN MR. RUPERT MURDOCH FOR THE CHANNELS HE SELLS, PLEASE TAKE NOTE, SELLS AND NOT GIVES AWAY.

Hope that was plain enough for you mate, so next time you are thinking about satellite TV read a bit about it first and that might just save you some money. To put it in a nutshell, you have bought a receiver which is good for little, other than FTA channels. If you had kept a civil tongue in your head you might have got some help, but you will receive none from me and I doubt anyone will want to help someone who is so cheeky and apparently too stubborn to learn.

Season's Greetings Wez
