Hi mate from what I see on Ebay, there is nearly always a caveat attached to the description of any unlocked mobile that they will not work on the 3 Network.

But the point is not unlocking it, will it work on the 3 network when it has been unlocked?

It will work on 3 network however the data is not built for use on the iphone so watch the bills (iphone is like a 7.9 petrol engine) they have a "fair usage policy" of around 150 or 500 meg (150 meg which is my daly usage)
Blackra1n will install cydia and install snow which will unlock it

Honest opinion get off 3! o2 have the best iphone data plans just the 3g network is not that great orange have the best voda 3rd
