Default N3 and full subscription on PC

Hi

I've been using my pc to view my cable channels, I pay a full subscription to vm but have used a funcard with a floppydvb-c card. Is there anyway just to use the proper vm subscription card with the PC as I understand that N3 will never be cracked.

Thanks for the help.

I would love to know also if there is a way.I used a official sky card with a floppydtv s2 and dragon cam for many years but the sky white cards have stopped that, gotta feeling it will be the same with virgin cable.

You would need to somehow extract the boxkey/RSA key from your subbed box and then use with a program that can handle N3 cards.

The programs are available but the hard part is getting the keys.

An alternative would be a CS client setup, if you could find a CS server that served VM CW's (I'm sure they will pop up soon enough)

Is it theoretically possible (and within the reach of an average geek) to set up a CS client purely for home use? Not looking to share with anyone else, just want to use a subbed card I pay for in my HTPC rather than my Virgin box.

I know I cannot ask for details on how to do it on this forum, but I'm hoping such a closed question ("yes" or "forget it") won't get anyone in trouble.

Yes, the programs already exist for the PC end of things. Its just a matter of plugging the correct numbers in.

Getting the numbers will depend on your subbed box. Same principles as getting the boxkey - probably jtag. If your subbed box is 2110 or other non jtag box then forget it.

At the moment, you cant get the numbers on any box as no one knows where they are but i'm sure someone will suss it.

i think you just need a tv capture card and some software rather than a dvbc card then you should be able to get any channel you pay for on your pc

Won't VM allow paying customer to use an OSC in their computer? I'm sure they would set it up for the user if they requested it?
