hi guys just bought an i phone 3 g should have it in an hour downloaded that blackra1n thing now how do i put it on the iphone i have just opened the program it says make it rain i no i click on this but do i do it through i tunes or what i no idea lol

right guys got me i phone how can i unlock it now lol few questions looked at a few site which i could buy a code but it asked for the imei code is this the one of my sim or the iphone

really need some help now guys i have used blackra1n to unlock it now my sim work but loads of the apps have gone i can receive calls but can dial any as no phonebook app there help please please

Hi mate all I can tell you is that the EMEI number is not on the sim, it should be seen when you remover the battery it is under the battery mate. Hope this helps you, but that is all I can tell you, sorry.

Hi again, just to add, the aps which you are missing might well be the phone companies ones, O2 I would say. You might try and download a few and try them.

Blackra1n can be a bit temperamental on some iphones , I personally use custom 3.1.2 firmware , You can create your own if you have a mac or you can download it from most popular torrent sites.

Once you have downloaded it go into itunes with your phone connected , Hold down the shift button and click restore , a box will pop up , select the location of the custom ipsw you downloaded.

When done should you need to unlock it for all carriers go into cydia and add the source www. Blackra1n.com , This will enable you to use the Blacksn0w carrier unlock. Also add cydia . hackulo.us for additional app downloads

Not that sure, I got the ones for my Sony Ericsson by googling the phone and adding free aps to the end of that, got loads of stuff. Hope you get it sorted soon mate, I know you want to get it sorted in a hurry, as I would myself. I would think that there are loads of aps for the Iphone, but most will be ones you need to buy.

The great thing about jailbreaking iphones is that you can download all the apps from popular sites and never pay a penny . Just use custom firmware to guarantee a successfull jailbreak , Blackra1n is great for 9/10 iphones but some do develop intermittent problems like loss of wi-fi etc.... Never had missing contact or message apps as described above ???

also remember that if you have unlocked your iphone and are using a non 3g sim you will have to turn off the 3g option in the settings of your iphone for the network to become active
