Default All 'dodgy boxes' going off next year??

I've heard rumour about all boxes dodgy boxes turning off around summer time next year... Something about virgin changing their encryption?

Sorry if I sound a bit stupid but just wondering if there is any more info on this?...

Thank you

To give you the definitive answer mate YES. The boxes in York and Leeds have been scuppered already, it is expected that all boxes will be gone around Easter time. See here for details Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums - Announcements in Forum : Cable boxes

Season's Greetings Wez
