Hi, I recently bought a blackberry 8900 on a 18 month t-mobile contract. However, I called the t-mobile customer number 150 and checked my balance but the request could not be made, this was probably because I needed to activate the sim card. The company I bought it from said that they would activate my sim within 24 hours but they haven't still done it yet and it has been over a month. I checked my bank balance and I haven't been charged. I actually phoned up t-mobile the day I received the phone to confirm whether the payment has started and they said that they wouldn't charge me until I activated the sim card. I've heard a similar thing when the first model of the iphone came out on o2. People bought the phone for £160 from carphone warehouse and never activated the contract. I was wondering whether I could keep the phone without being charged in the future. Can anyone tell me?
