Default V+ box question

i am thinking of getting multiroom with 2 V+ boxes , does each box require two cables connecting to it ( like the sky+ box) and do they both need connecting to the phone line all the time ? thanks

A V+ box only has one cable input on it, the split to the 3 tuners (only 2 on a Sky+) is internal:

And a V+ box doesn't have to be connected to a phone line at all - the single cable handles all that stuff.

Final question - why the "Cable on PC" section for that question dude?
