Default RANT: VM dont do freeview

Its really quite annoying that VM do not offer freeview on their network. Its really a good idea for those with indoor aerials etc... If they sold their receivers around the £30, it would definitely catch on. But it seems they dont, so were screwed with not even freeview channels on cable. Damn them

Fair enough then. They should still offer it across the whole of their network though! And maybe rent the box or something

Why should they do that? They paid loads to get all the cables installed, why would they want to let people to use it for free, it's their network.

Take their phone and the TV is only £5.50 a month anyway.

Yes I know, I have it, and never bloody use the thing.. I only have the phone because one has to have a fixed phone line doesn't one.

Some one near me was paying £2 a month to Virgin for their TV up until recently, for some crappy analogue cable channels (1 to 5 only).. Now they have Freesat, for proper FREE.

Well, we might do away with the phone service all together, in other words not using a landline. Im not too fussed because of the capabilities of my receiver and the future proof-ed-ness lol-and move away from VM

Not being funny, but it is very cheap to set up a satellite system and have all the free TV you want or could ever need, at least you would not even need a phone line then, it is worth thinking about anyway mate.

Season's Greetings Wez

Yup, thats why I said I bought my receiver as a future proof one even for FTA,as it can power a motor etc... if there is anti c/s. At the moment, we might just stick with Sky UK
