Hi, I'm after a device that just plays video for use in the gym...

I've done a good search and I can't seem to find a device that just plays video, I don't want to watch photos, I don't want internet access, view emails, etc.

Considered ipod Touch, Archos, Creative, amongst others, but feel I'm paying extra for stuff I won't use, ie email, etc.

I need 8 or 16gb. Around £150.00. 3-4 inch screen.

Any recommendations??

Think of photo/music playback as being subsets of video playback, and you'll understand these capabilities are a no-cost extra.
I agree that the extra hardware for email (data entry and wifi/bluetooth comms), camera, phone etc. adds unnecessarily to the cost. Check out older Archos models, they weren't always jacks-of-all-trades IIRC they started as pure video devices.

PSP? Memory stick slot, so expandable, great screen, capable of other stuff too. If you're just after a cheap, one job and one job only device, how about one of these? (clicky).
