Yes, I have also the same problem with rizlaman. My Acer aspire 2920z have stopped from charging and I can only use it when on plugged. But before it happened, my adapter first broke down due to irregular voltage in certain places here in Philippines (province of Albay), so I decided to buy any available adapter for temporary use because there weren't any available in the province and it would be taking me more than two weeks two have the original APC universal adapter from Manila ( because it is faster than ordering one from ACER company) So when the APC adapter arrived and having used it for more than a week, I noticed that my unit is not charging anymore until now. I tried to have the battery repacked but still it won't charge. Until now I have been using my laptop plugged with its adapter for almost a year.

Though many told me that maybe the power blocker inside the unit is busted, and some told me that I need to replace the unit motherboard.

Is there any best way to fix this unit? Thanks in advance for your great tips!
