.....if N3 has knackered Leeds, then where are all the for sale threads of people trying to offload their eurvoxes or other cable stb's?

I'm after a cheap eurovox (non clone) for my brother for the remaining time left before N3 hits Nottingham, but just can't find any, surprisingly i might add.

Just curious.

well sure, but i would have thought people would have sold them, seeing as FTA boxes are half the size and only cost about £15

They have no use for them (bar FTA) unless a fix becomes available so they want to get rid as it is pointless to them now. Many people are wanting to sell their boxes before N3 hits so they get the full price.
