hi guys got a pace 4001 using a flashtester to get bk but it give me different ones each time tried them all none of them work any ideas tried pushing it forward and backward still the same

p+p led simm is a lot easier to use m8

got an idea dont no if it will work but i have two ov these boxes i no the bk for one but the box dead can i swap the two atmel chips ie put the ones with the bk i no into the one i dont will this work

I used an RS232 Flashtester a while back to retrieve the BK from a PACE 4001. I had a similar issue to you but I just had to wiggle it a bit and it worked fine after that.

what an rs232 you use for modems ?

No, one of these (it is also known as an AVR Flashtester): http://www.fleetcomputersystems.co.u...w_Led_Simm.jpg. I was allowed to borrow it from a very generous member of this forum (I cannot remember his/her name)

just picked up a plug n play simm worked a treat....

that the one i got blakey still getting different results the first 10 numbers always the same the rest different
