Default pace 2000 - Keeps Freezing !!!

Hi there am having major problems with a pace 2000, The picture sometimes freezes and have to reboot it, or it reboots itself but no picture and the display just stays at PACE ... I have forced updates but this just keeps happening every now and again so i would love some help on this situation. Thanks in advance ...

If you had access to a more upto date box (i.e. a sammy) to use instead then I would just bin the pace, however if thats the only box then of course you would want to repair it. If it has only just started to happen I would more than likely say something in the box is at fault, if it has done it ever since you have had the box then it could be signal.. either to low, to high, dodgy f connectors, dodgy splitter, cut in cable etc (the list of faults to do with signal is quite long) To rule out the signal issue best thing is to borrow another box to try, if you dont get a problem then you know its your pace that is faulty. Good luck

If the signal is dodgy on your box, replace the tuner mate. I've had a couple of PACEs with bad signals and the picture breaking up. All I did was replace the tuners and they worked a treat after that .
