i think you might be better putting up with yer ex1100 for now.
take a look around the eurovox and general cable section and keep a close eye out and read any threads mentioning N3.then make your own mind up

Well I am sure they will still be on for the forseeable future, and yes I think you should definately get a 6000... It is light years ahead of the 1100 mate.
Even if it only lasts you a few months it will still be worth it. Cheers. |

you need to load the F/w as most only come with fta but it is really easy with these boxes just a case of getting a USB stick putting the file on it and then turning the box on it will then automatically update and after a power scan you will have all the channels! There is no need to enter any codes as the F/W takes care of all this!

If you have the firmware file named correctly (as it is in most places), you just extract it from the rar and put it on the USB stick and put the stick into the box - it updates itself automatically, you then just have to scan as mentioned.

I found it much easier on the 6000.
Plug the USB stick into the 6000 and turn it on. That's it. The rest of the flashing is totally automatic. I think this is the only box that does it for you. |

Firmware is on the Bigmaq toolbar. You can get circuit boards, but they are around £60, don't know if you can get just a tuner.
