Default EX1100 USB Eurovox

Hi everyone, your help is required please.......
I have just purchased the EX1100 eurovox and cannot get it to work at all. I have tried to download the software from TCB.cc but with no success. As a Granny with not a lot of computer skills would anyone please be kind enough to try and get my problem resolved for me. My box also appears to show American Dollar signs in front of a lot of the channels. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did you solve it?
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Regards
Nannalinda

i have not tested the new firmware but the old firmware i have got works fine
have added it on here
first clear all channel do a system
by doing this
1. press MENU on remote
2. go to TOOLS
3. Go to FACTORY SETTINGS
4. select FACTORY SETTINGS
5. select NO
6. Press O.K on remote

NOW DO THE RE SCAN
1. Press Menu on the remote, You will get a screen as above.

2. select INSTALL, then POWER SCAN

3. Press OK or BLUE button on the remote. (Procedure will take about 15mins)

4. When the scan is completed press EXIT on the menu,

Select a channel it will display “AUTO UPDATING” this will take a few minutes.

it works fine the only thing you have to is clear the channels FACTORY SETTINGS
i had a problem when i first did mine if you do it wrong once then a FACTORY reset needs to be done

cheers choppy, I put the f/w on a flash drive & it fixed this issue almost instantly. I didn't even need to rescan.
