Exclamation Strange code on my i290 mobile phone

I noticed that I have a strange code on my i290 cell phone, it reads as follows:
I can'||chr(39)||'t talk now,

It is located in my quick notes. Customer service can't tell me how to get rid of it because the security code they gave me doesn't work and I can't reset the phone. I have the unlock code but the security code is a mystery. Does anyone have any idea what this code means? Thanks

I can't get the phone to ring on incoming calls only and sometimes the keypad won't work on calls to businesses where you have to press "1" for english. Please help.

It looks like it's saying "I can't talk now" (if you take out all the jargon lol). Maybe someone sent you a memo through bluetooth or something and your phone was unable to translate it properly?

Thank you blakey_8! Could that be what is causing the phone not to ring? I read somewhere else the the *chr* part is part of a programming code, maybe it just got entered wrong or something.
