epg what else apart from radiotimes

Hi I have a 500s setup with the sqlite database and pulling epg info via radiotimes.
I have noticed that there is also some xmltv uk download plugin on the pli jade image but when going to the epg plugin I just get xxx.microsoft but nothing about channels.
What other options do we have to get epg beyond now and next, are there other plugins that are better and give you more than what radiotimes can offer. I would also like to have something similar for the foreign channels, mainly sports.

Hi, I cannot try my 500s, as a friend has it, but I get a ful epg, using the Pli Jade image on my 7025, I can set recordings for a week in advance, for the Astra 2 channels, though have not tried it with any other sat. As you may be aware the 7025 is an E2 receiver and it has E2 Images, whereas your 500s uses E1 Images. Not that sure that there would be enough memory in the 500s to store anything large, most of my plugins are stored on the HDD in the 7025 and I have BarryAllen running on the Flash Drive, with all the images I use.

Is your box connected to the net, if it is then try to download the plugin directly from the net to the box.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but as I say a friend has my 500s and there is no way I can try things out with it for you.

I have a network mount on my pc for the 500s to use so storage should not be a problem. Not sure if BarryAllen will help me out, do you have a link o more info on this.

Just checked seems BarryAllen in a enigma2 plugin so won't work on the 500s, do you know of any other plugins?

I have not used my 500s for well over a year now, well that is not strictly true, I have not done anything with it for a very long time so do not know anything about the latest plugins. Sorry I can not be of more help to you.
