ex7000HD limited viewing

this is my first box the eurovox ex7000hd and new to this, i have flashed the box through the usb and i have found 36 or so transponders and about 268 channels but at the moment i can only view basic freeviews channels is there some setting i am missing ? thanks again chipz

Hi Chip

Look in system information & see what firmware version that you have installed on the box. What does is say for LAST UPDATE?

Also you do not mention which area of the UK you are from.

Press MENU
Scroll Right To SYSTEM
Scroll Down To SYS INFO & Press OK

i am in the kent area the last update is today tried again but im not sure if the firmware i have is the latest has no date on the one i got from a friend still searching for the latest one to try hope that helps thanks agn chipz

looks like original FW.download the lastest December 09 FW from the files, and fixes tab in IE.

extract to a formatted usb drive. make sure that the file is called flash.tbn

power off box from either switch on back, or mains, put usb into back of ex7000, power on. firmware will auto update from usb drive.when finished box will reboot

re-scan channels, from a full factory reset. you should be good to go

Ahh ive been wondering how to get all the channels on my box aswell

hi most of the channels on my ex7000 are scrambled when i reboot it says flash.tbn then same version when i go into usb menu and data transfer do i use tbn up or tbn down tried both but no luck scanned from factory settings box 2weeks old please help

Hi Being a bit old and naive i had a problem with firmware installation which i think some of you may be having.When you download the firmware to youre pc.You then need to extract the files using win rar or the like.
Then transfer the extracted file to youre usb stick. I say this as it took me 8 hours to sus this.The usb will be downloaded automatically when you turn on the box. HOPE THIS HELPS SOME OF YOU.
