Hi is there anybody who can provided me with an unlocking code please?

* just a word of warning unless you intend using this phone on a 3G service then the phone will always lock! this is because the phones with 3G capability are always searching for the 3G network and if they cant find it on a non 3G Sim they will go into freeze mode every so often and so will you thru frustration.............

dont think they are on the 3G network yet or if they ever will? best check with them first! maybe go to there site see if any phones they sell are on 3G even the tocco

Orange website says 3G coverage of 93% of the uk!

Hi mate, take the battery out of the phone, look for the EIME number, write it down and then contact your phone company and ask them to unlock it for you. It will take a couple of days maybe, but they will send it to you.

As for them not working on an non 3G network, I got one from EEbay and it worked just fine with the Tesco network here and they are not 3G, just 2G, so in my case it has worked OK. I would, however, not be too sire that it will work with Orange. Nearly all the phones that are sold on Ebay, which are unlocked, have a caveat add to say that they will not work with the Orange network. , Might be worth finding out before you take the step of unlocking, however even if you do and it will not work with Orange, you can have it work with O2, Vodafone or any other network.

Hope you get it unlocked and find that it is OK with Orange.

I did not say that the phone would not work on the orange network, I said that one unlocked from another network might not work on the orange network. So Please read my post correctly before you jump down my throat. I was trying to be helpful and if you care to go on Ebay and have a look at the unlocked phones on there, you will see for yourself that the most have a warning that they will not work on the orange network. I am just telling people what I read on Ebay.

Maybe try this (the source states that it only works with 02 and Vodafone models):

If your Tocco is network locked to O2 or Vodafone and you wish to unlock it for use with a different provider, It can be unlocked by entering the following codes using the dialpad:

#7465625*638*00000000*00000000#

then:

#7465625*638*00000000#

Confirmation should be displayed onscreen after each code is entered. That's all there is to it! The above method may work with other Samsung handsets (i.e: G600, etc.) too.

also dont use codes as this will revert your imei number to 000000000000000
and your phone will become useless
