Hello,

My Eurovox Max is about 3/4 years old and i have had very few problems with it, i have turned it on tonight to watch the footy and the picture has no colour (black and white almost) and is very grainy, its watchable but far from what it should be, the sound quality is normal, i also have no EPG. When i go into the menu screen it also has no colour and is grainy. I have changed the scart leads, rebooted and turned off and on without any joy.

If anyone has had any similar problems or a solution it would be great for some advice.

P.S I have a Virmin contract and the picture on that box is fine.

Sounds like the box is on the way out mate, if you've checked the box on a different tv too, I can't think of anything that would cause those symptoms.

Likely a loose connection or faulty component on the video side of things. Can you open the box and check for anything that looks out of place? Even checking caps etc for leaks might point you to a problem.

Thanks for a reply, its completely gone now. Looks like a new one me thinks. Thinking about getting the Eurovox HD, do you think its worth the cash?

nope as they will soon be fooked in the summer,just try and get a 2nd hand 1 or get the ex6000 great box and easy to set up
