ESPN channel gone, SSN amongst other channels breaking up

Hi,

I appear to have lost ESPN, and SSN and a few others are breaking up so I can't get a picture, (my freeview in my DVD recorder is ok), so I presume its the eurovox, I have done re installation of the channels and a deep scan but nothing, any help appreciated.

Hi Ed

The freeview signal in your DVD recorder comes via a terrestrial rooftop antenna.

The Eurovox signal comes from the digital cable tv provider.

You cannot compare the 2 senarios & presume it is the Eurovox.

On the channels that are breaking up, press the INFO button twice & let us know what the Signal & Quality percentage is?

Thanks for your reply Gordan, yes I understand about the difference in antenna and cable connections, maybe its the cold weather breaking them up!!

I have got a lot of channels which are like this, all broken up and unwatchable

go to menu, user installations, and scan that frequency it should come back on.

Hi,

How do I do this I have scrolled down to that frequency, pressed the blue button 'manual scan' but nothing happens.

Still no idea why ESPN has dissapeared

Add to that Sky 1 isn't there either

Scroll down to that frequency, press the OK button to select it, then press the blue button to manual scan.

You cannot manual scan any frequency until you have gone down to it & selected it by pressing the OK button.

check your connections,,,, thats a feed problem of some type...
make sure wires are in good order too.

check the snow hasnt entered the box outside an dis causing problems there...

the eurovox is probably ok the feed will be the problem.

Thanks folks took out the cable connection, and put it back in, connections seem ok now, and the channels have come back.
