Again come across a stumbling block because I must have threw the modem out lol So looks like I may have to drop a post on free cycle and see if anybody got one going spare :P

Also I don't drive lol I guess it would be a bit dodgy me walking the streets with an open laptop :P

look on ebay for sb5101e modems dude, there is loads rangin from 5r to 15quid. i recomend u get 1 thats been already moded with haxorware or sommit unless u wanna start soldering and flashing the modem
then do as everyone else says! get scannin from somewhere to get a workin mac and fire it in ur house then scan some more!

Hey I have a modem and can get a mac quite easly but what do I do from there please help as the guy that dose mine charges £40 and wont tell me

reading the stickys and also giving info about what modem/firmware would help.
