Default No signal Manchester

Hi,
I've searche dover the forum and can't find a solution so I hope somebody can help?
I am a v***** subscriber with the basic pack and have a Eurovox V black. Sky Sports 1 seems ok most of the time but when I try to change channels I get a message saying either 'no signal' or 'please wait code updating'. My v***** box works ok.
I have a splitter joining the two boxes. I had this problem in December but it worked ok over Christmas /New Year but it has started playing up again.
Any ideas plese?
Thanks in advance.

First job, connect your eurovox directly to the incoming cable, leave the virgin box out for the moment, does the eurovox now work better ? if it does then the splitter or lead from it to the eurvox is not making a good connection,so check it out, eurovoxes are very sensitive to signal problems ...

Not sure if this will help you but mine went down about 30 -45 mins ago, VM box and Eurovox. Got no signal etc on Eurovox and error code on VM box. I guess VM have been messing cos they are both back on now and it looks like some changes to channels etc. Might just be me but I didn't notice Sky Sports 4 before and some others. Just doing update etc. By the way I did notice a channel showing instructions on what to do when new cards arrives!!

Cheers
