Not sure why you removed my post as there were no keys or anything even remotely keylike within it. The post contained a couple pieces of script code that were completely my own work. Even the example answers were completely made up and the post made clear NOT to post the results from anyone running these scripts. The only information required from people was the box type and whether the card had DT06, DT08 or neither.

These scripts did absolutely nothing to a card that it wasn't designed to do. The card simply answers simple questions that it would be asked in normal operation.

I suspect I would have to get more technical than this forum appears to allow in order to answer that. Basically though, the flash is just another program. You fathom out how it works and where it stores its data.

Im afraid this is the case in the cable section these days!
Until we get some mods in this section that actually know about cable then im sure these "problems" will continue.
@ Analoguesat, this is in no way a direct dig at you but alot of informative info has been deleted again for NO apparent reason as it wasnt even remotely illegal.

Im not saying there were keys in it. HOWEVER there was plenty of hex code in it - and less informed people see that and think "ah it ok to post the keys on the forum"

There are plenty of mods on here who "know about cable".

BTW - Id have binned it even if it was in the sat section.

I agree with you, I have been watching this thread closely and seen some posts been deleted when they were not even illegal.

Yes all decent guys so why not let them mod this section instead of sat mods that dont really know what they're talking about

If posts are not deleted then the threads are simply closed...time and time again for NO apparent reason

Maybe one day you'll get your wish and ALL cable talk will be scrapped and it will just be another redundant sat forum as it was before you merged with Techwatch!!!!!!

I dont think all that is true , Mods are here to govern the community , and only post when they know what they're talking about.

But yes a cable moderator this forum does need.
