i have an ambit 100 and i connect my max232 to it and it wont let me do nothing do i need to solder points for backcat???

also i plug in with live feed and it does nothing pwr rdy sync lights are on but thats it

when i plug my max232 in the send flashs and pwr stays on solid but cant communicat with softjtag and hyperteminal just boots the image on the modem can i lift the flashed chip off the board and re flash it

i just want this modem for my shed outside

ive done loads od 250s and 255 but got a couple of 100s i wanna have a play with ut cnt get into them 2 do anything

lol nowt like a 250 m8 you prob need to get the blackcat on it and flash a new p option bootloader to it first m8

i guessed that i was wondering if some1 in the forum could possibly tell me the way they flashed them? if it was blackcat or another way

can u go into 192.168.100.1? is it orig firmware or Infinite?

Blackat / JTAG as far as I know. Bin it, get a 250/255/256.
Don`t the 100s top out at 4MB? Obsolete I reckon nowadays. Better and easier modems about m8

i go into 192.168.100.1 and the modem config comes up (NTL) were can i buy the 10 pin header to solder to the 100 for the blackcat any1 no

Throw it in the bin m8...I had a load of 100s and 120s and I used them for TSOP removal practice! Not worth the hassle IMO
