hi guys i would like to install a dreambox setup and card share i live in the glasgow area and have a 1.1m motorised dish, been hearing good things about it just dont know how to get started any advice would be appreciated which i always get in this forum

only very general chat re C/S is allowed on the forum, you're best bet is a dedicated c/s forum, or even Google

im afraid you will have to use google to find that out, card sharing is not permitted on this forum.

General discussion is allowed now, but no asking for or offering shares.

You will get fuller info from a Google search but basically you need a cam installed like CCcam, then you can share a card in your box by entering a line in the Config file called an F Line, it specifies who is allowed to see your card. That person then needs a C line to specify where to look for the share.

OK, so it's not quite that simple, you may have to open ports on your router, and specify the server port and add extra configuration for the card, but that's the basics
