Hi to all that read this, can anyone please help me with this problem, i have a samsung smt-2100c box that some1 got for me(had to pay for) i can only get some channels, no sports, all music, ive read you can get into a main menu to do a scan, does this work and how do you get into it??

hold up and down buttons in on the box and power it up till you get into the engineirs menu blue screen

do as said above but wait for ld14 to show then let go after 2/3 seconds you should have the engineers menu up keep clicking the right button till you hit the frequency scan page then it will prompt you to hit tv/ok to start scan however me thinks could be signal strength issues mate or maybe something to do with nagra 3 depending on where you are?

sorry it took me so long to reply im gonna give it a go and let u know if it works, will re scanning it sort the missing channels out? thanks

u dont do a scan on a sammy, thats BS

u hold the up and down arrows then turn power on at plug ( mate to do it ) or put in cable at back. COUNT to 30 then release, it should then go ld 40? and wait

sounds like to me a out of date card, what card is it? and where u from

sorry i posted it twice and it annoyed u but didnt think i was gonna get any response. from bromley area and card is ntl, do get some channels. thanks for ur help.

have u looked in the menu yet? page 18 or so for software version?

at menu now just done frequency scan
