ex7000hd viewing problems

hi peeps! i have flashed the box with the december 09 firmware, scanned and found 34 transponders and about 269 channels! but it will only view the free channels coming up scrambled on all other channels! i am in kent and know we are still live here because couzin has it on otherside of town and works ok, i took my box up his did same thing but got the same result! have i done something wrong or am i missing something ?

Is the date on there Dec 3rd?

Silly question, but have you left it on a premium channel for 5 minutes to get the update?

EDIT: Lincsat beat me to it..

Firstly lets make sure you have got keys on the secret menu, press MENU then BLUE button.

You should have a key under NTL 00 and NTL 01. Use the arrows keys to toggle through the seperate providers if you don't immediately get presented with the NTL 00 key.

If there are no keys there, stick your box on sky sports 1 and leave for a few minutes, it should update the keys and the channel should start working, the others should also now work.

If it does not update the codes you can update them manually by entering them from the 'secret menu' using your remote control. You can find the codes in the usual places
