I am using it, the EPG is hit and miss. It seems to be fine for a while then slowly goes back to no info on nearly all the channels, other than that I have no issues...

If I forget to put the box in standby when I'm not using it, then I too experience the issues you mentioned. I used to experience the issues you mention with the EPG, but after leaving my box on standby each time I'm not using it, the EPG updates within 5mins after turning it back on, giving a fully functional EPG once more.

I've never had a problem with EPG in my area. I normally like keeping up-to-date with firmware but have been reluctant to do so because of problems with this version.
If I was to upgrade the firmware from Sep to Dec will if affect my EPG - e.g freezing/loosing EPG? The reason why I want to upgrade the firmware is to fix the PVR name recordings... Lol |

mmm...might stick with the Sept 2009. If there aren't any significant differences. Don't really want to have to re-organise the channels & favorites!

Had the December firmware for a couple of weeks now. EPG is ok, haven't really noticed a difference from Sept 2009.
My only issue is that programs such as E4, Living etc are giving me a message of "check signal" when i have no issues with my signal strength. Also MTV HD is missing but other than that it's ok. |
