Default Eurovox EX1100 USB PVR

Hello

I live in the Cardiff area South Wales and am thinking of getting this box - Eurovox EX1100 USB PVR.

Please can someone tell me the pros and cons of this box, i understand theres things to consider like Ng3, firmware, rebooting, facotry reset etc.

Is it likely that after a few months my box could just go off?

Any advice, tips, help or comments would be great.

THhank you

From what I have read the EX1100's are horrid boxes, if you are really intent on getting one I would recommend the 6000sd although tbh I wouldn't bother as when the N3 rollout finishes accross the country your box will get channels 1,2,3,4 and 5 and maybe a couple of others but thats it although nobody knows the exact rollout dates its expected that the whole country will have been done by easter!

Latest firmware version fixes a lot of the probs with EX1100usb and based on the box with the latest firmware, it is pretty good. The USB feature is handy for quick and easy firmware updating and good for PVR.

All in all, if it wasn't for the latest firmware, I'd say stay away from this box. As it is, it's been saved with the latest release.

Still from what I have heard the 6000sd is a far superior box with all the same features just better, the component output gives a very good picture to
